「株式会社エーゼログループ」が目指すもの
株式会社エーゼログループは岡山県西粟倉村、滋賀県高島市、北海道厚真町、
鹿児島県錦江町の4拠点にスタッフを配置していますが、今後段階的に合計7拠点まで拡大させていく計画です。
7拠点同時に仮説検証を重ねていくことで
新たな技術・ノウハウの確立と事業開発のスピードを
飛躍的に高めていきます。
事業領域は自然資本領域、社会関係資本領域、経済資本領域の3つを設定しており、
これらの事業領域間の有機的な連関と循環を醸成し「未来の里山」の実現を目指していきます。
What A-Zero Group Aims to Achieve
A-Zero Group Co., Ltd. is rooted in four unique regions across Japan: Nishiawakura Village in Okayama, Takashima City in Shiga, Atsuma Town in Hokkaido, and Kinko Town in Kagoshima.
Looking ahead, we plan to gradually expand to seven locations, building a network of places where new possibilities can emerge.
By testing ideas and hypotheses across all seven sites at once, we hope to dramatically accelerate the development of technologies, expertise, and new ways of doing business that are deeply connected to local resources.
Our work is grounded in three key areas of capital:natural capital,social capital, andeconomic capital.
Through nurturing organic relationships and circulation among these domains, we are striving to bring to life a vision of the“Satoyama of the Future”—a thriving, interwoven landscape where people and nature grow together.
「未来の里山」とは
豊かな自然を前提として豊かな社会が築かれていて、その上に経済が成立しているという
未来の地域社会の状態です。
かつての里山をそのまま復元しても地域経済は
豊かになりません。
地域に蓄積していく社会関係資本に、
関係人口を積極的に含めるようにしていくこと、
そして新しい技術や科学的知見の活用などにより、「未来の里山」を実現していける可能性があると
考えています。
私たちは「未来の里山」を、7つの拠点で仮説検証を地道に愚直に
重ね続けることにより、日本という国で育まれてきた自然と文化を未来へとつなげ、人と自然が共生する持続可能社会の1つのモデルとして世界に発信していくことを目指します。
What is the “Satoyama of the Future”?
The “Satoyama of the Future” envisions a regional society where a rich and healthy economy is built upon a vibrant community, which in turn is grounded in abundant natural ecosystems.
Simply restoring the traditional satoyama landscapes of the past is not enough to revitalize local economies.
We believe that by actively involving a broader network of people—including non-resident stakeholders—as part of a growing foundation of social capital, and by applying new technologies and scientific insights, the realization of this future satoyama is within reach.
Through steady and sincere hypothesis testing across our seven project sites, we aim to carry forward the nature and culture nurtured in Japan.
Our goal is to share the “Satoyama of the Future” with the world as a model of sustainable coexistence between people and nature.
「エーゼログループ」という社名について
森林土壌の表層にある堆積有機物層を
「A0（エーゼロ）層」と言い、A0層があることでその下の豊かな
A層（腐食を多く含む土壌）が守り育まれます。
私たちはこれから7地域に支社を設置していきます。
地域で連綿と受け継がれ蓄積してきた
自然や歴史、文化、経済を守りつつ、未来に繋がるチャレンジを育み、
貢献していくことを目指し、7つの支社がそれぞれに地域のA0層になることを目指しながら、共に支え合い共に成長する1つのグループとなるべく「エーゼログループ」という社名にすることにいたしました。
About the Name “A-Zero Group”
In forest ecosystems, the A0 layer refers to the surface layer of accumulated organic matter on the forest floor.
This layer plays a vital role in nurturing and protecting the rich A horizon beneath it—a fertile soil layer rich in humus and microbial life.
Inspired by this natural structure, we named ourselves A-Zero Group.
As we establish branch offices in seven regions across Japan, our aim is for each one to serve as the A0 layer of its community:
honoring and preserving the accumulated natural, historical, cultural, and economic richness passed down through generations,
while also fostering new challenges that will connect these regions to the future.
Through mutual support and collective growth, our seven branches will form a unified group—working together like the A0 layer that nurtures the richness of what lies beneath.
